Hi Fellow Moms,

I am trying to conceive but my husband feels he is not ready financially. He says babies can be very expensive. Is it true? Are baby costs and pregnancy costs too much? Can anyone shed some light.

After two kids, I can say no man is ever ready to be a dad dear.

Tell your hubby that you want a baby and do not give in to excuses. All the best!

It can be expensive especially in big cities like namma Bengaluru where costs are very high. Doctors give dozens of tests and there are pregnancy packages Small towns are cheaper and better. Discuss with your husband. If you are working it may be easier to manage.

Why did you marry someone who is not sound financially?
Are you working yourself? If not find a job so that you can support yourself.

Having baby can be expensive for sure and I believe if your partner is not ready financially than you should wait as after having baby, it can be difficult for all three of you. So, better be financially sound beforehand and than have a baby. Read my blogs on children and parenting here:- justdakhila.com/blog
